| Athletic Director Rainer Wulf is a veteran of Orange County high school athletics. He played collegiate basketball at U.C. Irvine for Coach Bill Mulligan and was voted captain during his junior and senior seasons. His basketball career continued as a professional player in Lithgow, N.S.W. located near Sydney in Australia. He came to Trabuco Hills as head boy’s basketball coach and held that position for 17 seasons. During that time, the Runnin’ Mustangs claimed 5 league championships, 2 CIF Southern Section titles and were finalists for the California state championship in 1989. Also, for 10 seasons he served as the girl’s assistant varsity softball coach for the Mustang softball program. Currently, Coach Wulf is the President of the Orange County Athletic Director’s Association (OCADA), which serves to promote high school athletics throughout the county and State of California. His vision for THHS Athletics is one in which the youth of our community are introduced to our outstanding Mustang coaches and superior athletic facilities at a young age. These future Mustangs will set goals and dream of wearing the Navy/White/Silver uniform to represent THHS when they get to high school. The “Home of the Mustangs” is the place to be! |

My vision for THHS Athletics is to make sure we have the best facilities available for our coaches and athletes. If we can "Show Case" the schools athletic facilities and get the best coaches, the athletes will come.I have served on many committees for the stadium, track, fieldturf, tennis courts and gym to ensure that THHS gets the best that is available.
